Q1 - How to access the participatory space?
You received an email on 21/02/2022 (Subject: "You have been invited") with a link to connect to the participative space reserved for AFD group agents.
You can't find this email in your inbox, in your spam or in your deleted messages?
Follow the procedure below:
- On www.consultation-numerique.afd.fr , click on "registration" (top right);
- Fill in your AFD email address;
- Choose a password.
That's it! You are now connected.
You can find the participatory space reserved for AFD group agents in the "Projects" drop-down menu at the top left of the home page.
Please note! It is only from this link in the "Project" menu that agents must participate to the internal consultation. The "Participate here" button viewable from the home page of the site gives access to the consultation intended for our external stakeholders.
Q2 - What do the categories correspond to?
Each proposed idea is to be linked, as far as possible, to one of the major themes of the strategy. These themes have been identified:
- By the side of others: AFD group wishes to be even more attentive to the needs and priorities of its clients and beneficiary populations, in order to respond more effectively. How can we strengthen our geographical intelligence (understanding of contexts, political economy) and align ourselves with the development strategies of partner countries? How can we apply this approach to our different geographic areas (Africa, Three Oceans, Latin America and Orients)?
- Social Link: with the 100% Social Link strategy, AFD group is committed to reducing multidimensional inequalities and strengthening inclusion. What ideas do you have to make Social Link even more central to our operations?
- Planet: AFD group confirms its 100% Paris Agreement commitment, fully integrates biodiversity issues and takes into account the issue of natural disaster risk reduction. How can we go even further?
- Citizens and Institutions: AFD group wants to work towards strengthening institutions, towards greater legitimacy and efficiency, while promoting inclusion and citizen participation. What is the definition of this new commitment? What ideas do you have to feed and specify the activities of this new commitment?
- Innovation: it will be a matter of encouraging and strengthening the sharing of experiences, expertise and innovations between the North and the South and between the countries of the South. How can we achieve these objectives and go further in anticipating the world of tomorrow?
- Mobilization: AFD group will not meet the challenge of the SDGs alone. How can we meet the challenge of mobilizing actors and financial flows?
- Internal transformation: as the first fully-fledged Group strategy, this future strategy should allow the emergence of a common culture and promote the formulation of a global and competitive Group offer. How will this strategy guide the Group's future transformations?
- Other: suggest any other ideas you think are important for the future strategy.
The Group's "First strategic orientations" presentation will provide you with additional information on these major themes (link to the Hivernales presentation).
Q3 - How do I write my idea?
The general principle is: one idea = one proposal!
Try to be precise, concise and concrete.
We recommend that you focus on operational ideas so that they can be easily integrated into the next steps of our future strategy! Here are some examples for your consideration.
And don't forget that you can also vote or comment on your colleague's proposals!
Q4 - What is the timeline for this consultation?
The digital consultation is planned in two stages:
- First, the idea box phase during which you can submit your ideas and proposals to participate in the development of the Group's new strategy. This first phase will run until mid-March. At the end of this first phase, the main ideas and proposals submitted on the platform will be presented.
- Then the consultation phase of the document will begin. During this phase, you will be invited to comment, vote and react to the proposals that will be drafted in the future strategic document. This second phase should take place during the third quarter (dates to be confirmed).
Q5 - Can our external stakeholders and partners participate in this reflection?
Our partners and stakeholders will have access to an external digital consultation platform to share their proposals and expectations for AFD group. Please feel free to share the link to the external digital consultation platform with your partners to encourage them to participate: https://consultation-numerique.afd.fr .
We also plan to organize a few focus groups in the network for more targeted and in-depth discussions.
